Jenalyn was born and raised in Honolulu, in the neighborhoods of Salt Lake and Moanalua. Jenalyn attended Moanalua High School and the University of Hawaii education systems. Early on in high school, Jenalyn grew an interest with community service and volunteered numerous years for programs provided by the City and County of Honolulu. Most recently, Jenalyn has dedicated her service to numerous schools by serving on various boards and committees in addition to the Pearl Harbor Lions Club and Children’s Alliance of Hawaii.
Jenalyn has been active within the real estate industry for over 10 years, which includes previous experience in title and escrow. Overall, her family has been successful & active Realtors for a combined total of over 75 years. In 2008, Jenalyn obtained her real estate license with the endeavors of assisting people with their real estate needs. And as a full time Realtor, she is accessible, listens, and has the capability to negotiate what is best for her client’s needs. Jenalyn takes great pride in earning respect and trust from her client’s and understands that every client and transaction is individualistic and unique in itself. Jenalyn has also been an “Aloha Aina” nominee, a prestigious Realtor Award Program, for two consecutive years in 2010 & 2011.
Continuing education in the real estate industry is essential due to shifting banking regulations and market conditions. Currently, Jenalyn holds the ABR and GRI designations. The ABR designation, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, is specialized training in identifying a buyer’s specific needs throughout the process of a real estate transaction. In addition, the agent must have documented and proven experience representing buyers successfully purchase real estate. The GRI designation, Graduate Realtor Institute, is a year’s worth of courses provided by the Honolulu Board of Realtors which are taught by various professionals within the real estate industry. These classes are designed to better serve a client’s needs by performing at a higher level of knowledge & service.
Jenalyn has been happily married for seven years and has two sons and a Maltese named “Spiderman”. Jenalyn enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, and volunteering her time to assist and promote community support.
