She is a full-time real estate professional and an experienced Buyer and Seller’s agent of Hawaii real estate. She joins Island, REALTORS®, a company comprised of highly experienced individuals and leaders in the real estate industry.
Recognized in her field, Shaila earned the prestigious distinction of being the 2008 Aloha ‘Aina People’s Choice Award Winner. From approximately 6,000 licensed REALTORS®, only 375 were nominated, and just 10 are awarded this honor. This Award is reserved for REALTORS® who have delivered to clients’ exceptional service, high ethical standards, and those who have gone above and beyond. Shaila was also nominated for this award every year since 2006.
Always eager to improve her skills, Shaila obtained her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, a designation to which only 4% of all REALTORS® hold. She is also a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Shaila pairs with Inder Mirchandani, her teammate and father. Inder has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1981. They work on each transaction as a team and together they provide their clients with double the experience, knowledge, and availability.
Shaila was born and raised a local girl in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has studied hula from Halau Hula O Maiki since 1989. Upon graduation from Punahou School, she moved to the mainland to complete her Bachelors of Science degree at The Ohio State University. She specialized in both Real Estate and Finance at the Max M. Fisher College of Business. Prior to becoming a Realtor, she worked for a commercial real estate appraisal firm in Columbus, Ohio. Shaila serves as Chair of the Family Selection Committee with Honolulu Habitat for Humanity where she works to better Hawaii's current need for Affordable Housing.
